Loans Operations Senior Associate / Executive

We are pleased to present an exciting permanent opportunity with a leading global financial services organisation, within their high-performing Lending Operations team. The role offers a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with occasional requirements to be on-site up to 4 days per week.

About the Role

This position sits within a product-focused operations team supporting Principal Finance clients and managing the full end-to-end loan lifecycle. Rather than being separated by narrow functional lines, the successful candidate will gain broad exposure across the full process, including:

• Draft documentation review support
• Financial close
• KYC coordination
• Deal onboarding
• Ongoing servicing via LoanIQ

LoanIQ experience is advantageous but not essential; experience with another corporate loans system will also be considered.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the operational setup, settlement and ongoing servicing of a diverse portfolio of debt and equity transactions across both corporate and real estate sectors. Working closely with internal stakeholders across front office, risk, finance and legal, responsibilities will include:

• Primary and secondary loan settlement and booking
• Day-to-day loan administration of bilateral and syndicated positions
• Navigating loan documentation to support deal booking, funding and cashflow management
• Submitting KYC requests and supporting conflicts checks
• Processing loan utilisations, rollovers, interest payments (cash and PIK), repayments and prepayments
• Managing borrower covenants and information undertakings
• Settling secondary loan trades (manually and via ClearPar)

What Youll Bring

• Strong academic background
• A minimum of 3 years experience in loan administration
• Experience with LoanIQ or another corporate loan management platform
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong numerical and Excel skills, alongside effective problem-solving ability
• Solid understanding of loan management processes
