We are pleased to present an exciting permanent opportunity with a leading global financial services organisation, within their high-performing Lending Operations team. The role offers a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with occasional requirements to be on-site up to 4 days per week.
About the Role
This position sits within a product-focused operations team supporting Principal Finance clients and managing the full end-to-end loan lifecycle. Rather than being separated by narrow functional lines, the successful candidate will gain broad exposure across the full process, including:
- Draft documentation review support
- Financial close
- KYC coordination
- Deal onboarding
- Ongoing servicing via LoanIQ
LoanIQ experience is advantageous but not essential; experience with another corporate loans system will also be considered.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the operational setup, settlement and ongoing servicing of a diverse portfolio of debt and equity transactions across both corporate and real estate sectors. Working closely with internal stakeholders across front office, risk, finance and legal, responsibilities will include:
- Primary and secondary loan settlement and booking
- Day-to-day loan administration of bilateral and syndicated positions
- Navigating loan documentation to support deal booking, funding and cashflow management
- Submitting KYC requests and supporting conflicts checks
- Processing loan utilisations, rollovers, interest payments (cash and PIK), repayments and prepayments
- Managing borrower covenants and information undertakings
- Settling secondary loan trades (manually and via ClearPar)
What Youll Bring
- Strong academic background
- A minimum of 3 years experience in loan administration
- Experience with LoanIQ or another corporate loan management platform
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong numerical and Excel skills, alongside effective problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of loan management processes
