As a Loan Administration Officer, you will be integral to the Private Markets financial operations team, acting as the main point of contact for outsourced service providers and ensuring the smooth, accurate administration of a complex loan portfolio. Your expertise will directly support the firm's mission to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily oversight of the loan portfolio via LoanIQ, ensuring timely and accurate processing of utilisations, rollovers, interest payments, repayments, and prepayments.
  • Navigate and interpret loan documentation to facilitate deal booking via LoanIQ, funding, and cash flow management, adhering to robust risk management frameworks.
  • Oversee and review deliverables from outsourced service providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and high standards of quality.
  • Act as the main escalation point for the Private Market Operations team, coordinating loan servicing and settlement across multiple stakeholders.
  • Monitor and reconcile cash flows, assist with investor queries, and drive continuous improvement in controls and processes.
  • Provide technical advice and support to the team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

What You Bring

Experience: 5+ years in loan administration, with a strong background in loan operations. Experience in private credit operations is highly valued but not essential.

Systems: Experience with ClearPar, Loan IQ, or similar platforms is advantageous.

Skills: Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with strong accounting, analytical, and Excel skills. Familiarity with Bloomberg, fee calculations, and administrator tools is a plus.

Mindset: Ability to thrive in a demanding environment, prioritise effectively, and work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
