DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Financial Analyst, FP&A Intl Cluster 2, located in Wokingham (Pinewood), United Kingdom. This role plays a critical part in enabling strong financial decision‐making across the International Cluster 2 organization. The Financial Analyst will partner closely with regional and functional leaders to deliver high‑quality financial insights, support forecasting and planning cycles, and help drive performance management across the business. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to international operations within a global MedTech organization while developing core FP&A expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for International Cluster 2.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L, variance analyses, and key performance indicators, to support business decision‑making.
  • Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders to understand drivers of performance and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business initiatives and investments.
  • Support month‑end close activities by reviewing results, explaining variances, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and reporting standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree or MBA (preferred).

Required:

  • Approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear insights.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, international environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting international or regional finance organizations.
  • Exposure to MedTech, healthcare, or regulated industries.
  • Experience with financial modeling and business case development.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, or similar).
  • Progress toward a professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, CPA).

  • Language requirements: English (fluent). Additional European language skills are a plus.
