Position Summary
The Sonographer II demonstrates an expanding knowledge base in the management of diagnostic testing for specific types of patient populations. The Sonographer II applies more in-depth clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills, demonstrates an increased capacity to problem-solve through application of testing modalities, and completes the unit-specific Competent Clinical Pathway.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with minimum of one-year experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
- Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI
- Current BLS certification, AHA
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- This role is specific to OBGYN patients - candidates must have experience in this field.
Shift
Casual / On-Call; Every Thursday and Friday, day shift- 8am-5pm. No weekends, no holidays.
Location: OBGYN clinic, 5959 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33710.
Salary Range
Minimum $51.00/hour - Maximum $51.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion.
