About the Role

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

About the Hospital

As a 259‑bed teaching hospital with more than half of its beds dedicated to intensive care services, we serve as the regional pediatric referral center for Florida’s west coast, providing advanced critical care, complex surgical procedures, and innovative therapies. We also support neonatology and pediatric services across the region.

Unit Overviews

  • PICU is a 28-bed unit.
  • CVICU is a 22-bed unit.
  • NICU is a 97-bed unit.
  • CDH is a 15-bed unit.

Qualifications

  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain a BSN within 36 months of hire.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferred 2 years of experience.
  • Previous PICU experience preferred.
  • BLS certification provided by AHA.

Salary

Minimum $36.62/hour - Maximum $54.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
