Position Summary
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse and fulfills a range of duties as documented in the competency framework. The role requires occasional internal communication with other work groups to exchange relevant information and external communication to provide factual information to stakeholders.
Education / Experience
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- One year of clinical experience or successful completion of an internship program.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Medical Assistant (MA) certification, or one of the following:
- A nursing student or LPN who has completed fundamental nursing skills coursework.
- An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
- BLS certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Salary Range
Minimum $17.37 per hour – Maximum $26.91 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. Salary discussions will occur during screening calls if the range is not displayed.
