The Milk Technician is responsible for the daily operating procedures of the Milk Depot, which includes receiving expressed breast milk, processing enteral feeding orders, preparing breast milk and formula feedings and delivering to the patient unit.
Position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and knowledge of aseptic technique to ensure safe milk handling. Shifts are rotating, totaling 20 hours per week with schedules 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 11:30 AM–10:00 PM.
