The Emergency Center at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital provides life‑saving emergency care to children of all ages. As the only stand‑alone Pediatric Trauma Center on the west coast of Florida, our team is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients and their families.

Emergency Center Overview

  • 2 Dedicated Trauma/Critical Care Rooms
  • 8 "Quick Kid" rooms
  • Designated "safe" room for mental health patients
  • Approximately 45,000 visits per year

Shifts: 36 hours per week – nights

Work location: St. Petersburg, Florida

Who Should Apply

  • BSN from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) required. Florida State or Compact License required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
  • BLS certification provided by AHA
  • Obtaining a certification within one (1) year in an area of specialty

Salary Range: Minimum $40.95/hour – Maximum $63.46/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
