The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is a 22‑bed unit that provides highly specialized care for patients of all acuity levels and ages, from newborns to adults. The CVICU cares for both medical and surgical patients with congenital and acquired heart disease, supporting them throughout their hospital journey from admission to discharge. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient‑centered critical care across the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions.
Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain a BSN within 36 months of hire.
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Florida State or Compact License required.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferred 2 years of experience.
- Experience in pediatric CVICU preferred.
- BLS certification provided by AHA.

Salary Range: Minimum $36.62/hour – Maximum $54.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
