The hospital is a regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast and offers access to innovative treatments and therapies.
Responsibilities
- The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs additional tasks as competency documentation designates.
- Work may require internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information.
- Communication with external contacts involves providing factual information.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- One year of clinical experience is required or successful completion of the intern program.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Medical Assistant (MA) certification, or one of the following: A nursing student or LPN who has completed fundamental nursing skills coursework.
- An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
- BLS certification provided by AHA.
Salary Range: Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 26.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
