Weekly Working Hours: 36 hrs per week
Shift: Nights
With more than half of our 259-bed teaching hospital dedicated to intensive care services, we serve as the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast. Physicians and community hospitals rely on us to care for critically ill patients, perform complex surgical procedures, and provide access to innovative treatments and therapies. Through strong community partnerships, we also manage neonatology and additional pediatric services at several hospitals across the region.
As a Magnet designated hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), we are at the forefront of healthcare and nursing practice. Our Nurse Managers and clinical leaders play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of patient care while fostering a culture of compassion, teamwork, and professional excellence.
The Emergency Center at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital provides specialized, life-saving emergency care for children of all ages and is the only stand-alone Pediatric Trauma Center on Florida's west coast. The 29-bed unit includes dedicated trauma and critical care rooms, Quick Kid rooms, a designated mental health safe room, and cares for approximately 45,000 patients annually.
Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited School of Nursing, preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire
- Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, preferred 2 years of experience
- Experience in pediatric setting and/or Emergency Department preferred
- BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum $36.62/hour - Maximum $54.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
