Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for a variety of duties assisting in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels and keeping appropriate records and documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Completion of an ASHP/ACPE accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
- 0 to 2 years of pharmacy technician or other related experience.
- PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
Skills And Abilities
- Requires knowledge of pharmacy work routines, procedures, materials, terminology, and medication names.
- Requires skills for accurate drug preparation and pharmaceutical compounding, following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Requires the skills to read and understand instructions, and basic math skills.
- Requires interpersonal skills to interact with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to obtain, verify and exchange information.
- Ability to work with computers for data entry and manipulation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Hours
Limited (20 hours per week); Day Shift. No weekend work required.

Salary Range
Minimum $17.97/hour - Maximum $28.74/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
