At Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, we provide expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. We are committed to providing family-centered care. Join our brand-new APP Pediatric Hospitalist service line! We have an exciting opportunity for an APP Pediatric Hospitalist to care for general medicine admissions. As an APP Pediatric Hospitalist, you will play a vital role in the inpatient care team by managing the care of hospitalized pediatric patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing admissions
- Conducting daily patient rounds
- Developing and managing treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Facilitating discharges
This is a 12 hour position, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. The ideal APP will have inpatient acute pediatric APP experience, experience with pediatric rounding or a strong focus on pediatrics. Candidate must be acute care certified.
What You Bring
- Physician Assistant
- Clinical Master's degree as a Physician Assistant Or Master's degree with a Physician Assistant Certificate Or Bachelor's of Science in Physician Assistant with National Certification
- Current Florida State Licensure as Physician Assistant
- Current BLS and PALS
- Current National Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Nurse Practitioner
- Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP
- Current National Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care
- Current Florida State Licensure as APRN
- Current BLS and PALS

Salary Range: Minimum 71.73/hour - Maximum 71.73/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
