Position Summary:
The Sonographer III demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in the management of diagnostic testing. Demonstrates focused critical thinking, integrates multi-system implications and provides anticipatory observation and management for predictable events. Demonstrates interdisciplinary collaboration and an outcome-oriented approach to care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years’ experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education.
- Specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI.
- 5+ years of experience as a Sonographer.
- Perinatal Sonography experience is required.
- Dual registries preferred (ex. Fetal Echo, Pediatric Echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Adult Echo).
- Current BLS certification, AHA.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Shift: PRN/On-Call, Day Shift. No call or weekend work is required.
Salary Range: Minimum 40.78/hour - Maximum 65.24/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
