An exceptional opportunity is available for a full-time on-site Clinical Research Coordinator to support our Sports Medicine research studies primarily located at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. This specialized role requires a candidate who combines previous clinical research coordination experience with a sports/athletic background or knowledge of pediatric sports medicine and health issues (such as brain injury/sports-related concussion). The coordinator will be fully responsible for maintaining all regulatory documentation, ensuring protocol compliance, screening, enrolling, and serving as the primary liaison between the IRB, sponsors, and the internal research team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or health related field
- 2 years of prior clinical research assistant, direct patient care services, or nursing or other healthcare related certification experience
- Computer competency in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to follow protocols and directions very closely
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, and be comfortable communicating with patient populations
- Prior experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Ability to travel throughout the JHACH service areas in a timely manner
Salary Range: Minimum 25.32/hour - Maximum 40.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
