Job Description: Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design, build and advance the world. Wood is looking for proactive, hands-on Workshop Assistants to support the clear out of a busy engineering workshop in Northampton on a temporary 4-week basis.
Location: Moulton Park industrial estate Northampton
Site / Offshore / Office based: Site Based
Hours of work: 37.5 hours
Rotation / work pattern: Monday – Friday 8am until 4pm
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities:
- Assisting with the removal and disposal of old equipment, tools, and materials
- Organising and packing items for storage or relocation
- Cleaning and tidying workspaces, benches, and storage areas
- Supporting the team with general manual tasks during the clearance process
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed throughout
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Previous workshop or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
