Job Description: Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design, build and advance the world. Wood is looking for proactive, hands-on Workshop Assistants to support the clear out of a busy engineering workshop in Northampton on a temporary 4-week basis.

Location: Moulton Park industrial estate Northampton

Site / Offshore / Office based: Site Based

Hours of work: 37.5 hours

Rotation / work pattern: Monday – Friday 8am until 4pm

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the removal and disposal of old equipment, tools, and materials
  • Organising and packing items for storage or relocation
  • Cleaning and tidying workspaces, benches, and storage areas
  • Supporting the team with general manual tasks during the clearance process
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed throughout
  • Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Previous workshop or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
