What we are looking for:

  • We seek an enthusiastic, well-qualified Business specialist who will:
  • have excellent subject knowledge including A Level and BTEC
  • have the skills to promote a collaborative learning culture to maintain high standards
  • be able to demonstrate a talent for motivating and enthusing young learners to achieve their best
  • have excellent planning and preparation skills
  • have the ability to problem-solve and manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • work collaboratively within the Department to develop Business at A Level and the newly reintroduced BTEC; keeping it fresh, inspirational and relevant
  • be resilient under pressure
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In return we offer a generous salary and benefits package including membership of either the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (with 3 x salary life assurance cover) or a defined contribution (DC) scheme which can be tailored to meet financial goals and includes 5 x salary life assurance cover, an Employee Discount Club, discount on school fees for the Foundation Schools (permanent posts only, upon successful completion of the probationary period), access to our on-site gym, membership of a healthcare plan, a range of family-friendly benefits and season ticket loan. Assistance is offered towards removal expenses etc., up to £1,000 in total.
