We are seeking a proactive and approachable People Advisor to join our dedicated People team on a part‑time basis. In this role, you will provide day‑to‑day HR support across our schools, care homes, and head office, helping managers and colleagues navigate a wide range of HR queries and processes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of operational HR work and strategic input. You will play a key role in delivering a high‑quality, responsive HR service, from employee relations, wellbeing and policy work to benefits and people data. You will help drive positive outcomes for the organisation while ensuring that our people practices remain fair, consistent, legally compliant and aligned with the Foundation’s goals.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, a solution‑focused approach, and the ability and aptitude to support a diverse workforce across multiple settings. In return, we offer a collaborative working environment where your contribution will have real impact.

About You

  • Ideally CIPD‑qualified or educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) in HR, business, or management.
  • Experience in an HR/People advisory role.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law.
  • Highly organised, disciplined, and able to prioritise a fluctuating workload effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of staff.
  • Pragmatic, with the ability to find creative and practical solutions.
  • Professionally curious and committed to continuous improvement.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Working Pattern

  • Hours: Permanent, Part Time - up to 22 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. Working pattern can be discussed at interview.
  • Hybrid working: two/three days in the office and one day working remotely, with Wednesday as the designated anchor day.
