At Trinity School, we are committed to providing exceptional opportunities for our students to develop and showcase their musical talents.

To support this, we maintain a dedicated team of casual chaperones who supervise and support pupils participating in a wide range of music-related activities and performances.

We are seeking to expand our pool of Music Chaperones to meet the growing needs of the Trinity Choirs and Music Department.

Assignments may include concerts, tours, recordings, competitions, rehearsals and other events, both on and off site.

Working on a casual basis, hours will vary according to the needs of the department and may include evenings, weekends and occasional overnight trips.

Chaperones play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in their care.

They act as advocates for pupils, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and participation while providing fair, equitable and inclusive support at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support pupils during a wide range of music-related activities and performances.
  • Assist with concerts, tours, recordings, competitions, rehearsals and other on‑site and off‑site events.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and participation of children, acting as advocates and providing fair, equitable and inclusive support.
  • Adhere to casual work schedules, including evenings, weekends and occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

  • Professional, reliable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Chaperone Licence and current Enhanced DBS certificate with Children’s Barred List check.
  • Previous experience working with children and young people in a performance, educational or similar setting (advantageous).
