Whitgift House is a unique and well-established care home offering high-quality nursing care alongside independent living options. We are seeking an exceptional Care Home Manager to lead our dedicated team and uphold the high standards that underpin the John Whitgift Foundation's long-standing reputation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be an organised professional and engaging leader with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will be comfortable building positive relationships with staff, residents and relatives while ensuring consistent high-quality service delivery.

  • Ensuring the effective maintenance, implementation and development of internal processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining a robust schedule of supervision, quality checks and mock audits.
  • Leading, motivating and supporting a diverse team of skilled professionals.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous personal development and regular performance review.
  • Thinking strategically and independently to sustain full occupancy.

About You

Staff Training

All our staff take part in a structured training programme which is tailored to each individual and is geared to help them to offer the high standards of care that are expected in a Whitgift Care home. Our internal training is run by our dedicated Training Coordinator who ensures that our staff are trained in mandatory subjects.
