At John West, part of the global Thai Union group, our people are central to our success. We’re looking for a proactive, organised and detail orientated Packaging and Artwork Manager to join our Marketing Team on a fixed term basis for up to 12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of branded artwork projects, working closely with suppliers and packaging specialists, and lead changes in materials or structural designs whilst ensuring all packaging elements meet the agreed brand standards. We are happy to consider both full time and part time applicants for this role and can offer flexibility for the right person.
What you will be doing:
- A key part of the role will be the daily briefing, approval and tracking of EPD projects through the artwork online system to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
- You will work cross functionally with marketing, purchasing, technical, legal, supply chain and 3rd party agencies and suppliers to ensure projects are on time and accurate.
- The role will be responsible for any secondary packaging artwork and represent the market on central packaging projects regarding new materials or new cutters.
- The role will be responsible for the artwork budgets and artwork agency on a day-to-day basis.

What experience do you need?
- A solid background (minimum 3 years) in artwork briefing and project management as well as a good understanding of the reprographics and print process across various substrates including flexo, litho, gravure and experienced in colour management.
- FMCG experience preferred.
- You must be able to demonstrate your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, have excellent organisation skills and attention to detail is a must.
- We are seeking a hands-on knowledgeable, artwork change manager who will take accountability and will make a difference, quickly.
- Success in this role means delivery on time, accurate artworks and print ready files, mitigating any delays and write offs.
