We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Vehicle Rental team at Ransomes Europark. This is a varied and customer-focused role where no two days are the same. What you'll be doing
- Delivering outstanding customer service both in person and over the telephone
- Managing vehicle rental enquiries and bookings
- Promoting additional products and services where appropriate
- Processing payments, deposits and refunds accurately
- Checking customer identification and insurance eligibility
- Preparing vehicles for hire and completing vehicle handovers
- Inspecting vehicles on return and recording any issues
- Delivering and collecting rental vehicles when required
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring maintenance schedules are followed
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting the day-to-day administration of the department
What we're looking for
- Enthusiastic, dependable and committed to delivering excellent customer service
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-moving environment
- A full UK driving licence is required. C1 and D1 licence categories would be advantageous but are not essential. Candidates who hold these categories are encouraged to highlight them in their application. Unfortunately, automatic-only licences cannot be considered for this role.

Working Hours
This is a part‑time position, typically working:
- 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 12 noon Saturday working on a rota basis
