Job Purpose: The Sales Advisor is responsible for driving commercial growth within a designated sales territory by developing existing customer relationships, securing new business, and delivering high-quality technical and advisory support. The role combines customer engagement, farm-level service delivery, and strong commercial acumen to ensure the company achieves its market share, service, and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, strengthen, and grow business with existing customers through regular visits, proactive engagement, and tailored support.
- Identify, secure, and develop new customers and accounts to expand the company's footprint within the territory.
- Achieve company targeted market share by executing effective sales strategies and maintaining a strong presence across the regional area.
- Provide regular feedback on sales activity, competitor insights, and marketing intelligence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and consistency in every interaction.
- Provide accurate technical guidance to customers, supporting informed decision making and product optimisation.

- Prepare accurate, tailored feed plans to optimise herd performance and customer outcomes.
- Support meetings, demonstrations, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Complete all sales, prospecting, and customer activity records accurately and on time.
- Maintain regular telephone contact and conduct scheduled customer visits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing policies, product information, and technical developments.
- Undertake any other duties as required to support the success of the business.
