John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of History to join our evolving organisation.

The successful candidate will ideally be experienced in teaching up to A-level; however, this post is also suitable for new entrants to the profession. At KS3, we are passionate about embedding historical knowledge and understanding as well as developing our students’ evaluative skills with sources. We are offering our students the chance to study the AQA History GCSE course which offers our students an exciting blend of modern and medieval history. At KS5, students can study AQA A Level History.

We have many opportunities for an enthusiastic Historian to shape the future of our offer, as we look to develop, refine, and build our curriculum, and enhance our welcoming and innovative team. Please see our website for details of our curriculum.
