John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) seeks a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic Pastoral Support Officer to join our evolving organisation from September 2026. The successful candidate will work alongside Heads of Year and the wider teaching staff to support student attendance, behaviour and wellbeing. You will be responsible for supporting students across an agreed section of the school community. Flexibility, excellent communication and the ability to manage time effectively are key characteristics required for this role. A commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and supporting a positive school environment is essential.

Job Details

  • Permanent, full-time position: 37 hours per week for 39.2 weeks per year (term-time only plus 6 INSET days).
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (with an earlier finish at 3:30 pm on one day per week, to be agreed with line manager).
  • Salary: Grade 5 £26,403 – £27,254 per annum pro rata (actual salary £22,927.87 – £23,666.86 per annum).
