Inclusion Support Assistants – Physical and Sensory Needs

Fixed‑term position linked to funding; contract will end when the student leaves the school.

Part‑time working 32.5 hours per week, term time only for 39.2 weeks per year.

Salary: Grade 5: £26,403 – £27,254 per annum pro‑rata (actual salary: £20,139.34 – £20,788.46 per annum).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the SENDCo, teaching staff and students with physical and sensory needs.
  • Assist students with day‑to‑day tasks to enable access to the curriculum, including personal care.
  • Maintain excellent communication with staff and students.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating teamwork, collaboration and respect.
