Inclusion Support Assistant or Apprentice Inclusion Support Assistant
Part-time position working 32.5 hours per week for 39.2 weeks per year (term-time only plus 6 INSET days)
Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:45pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.
Inclusion Support Assistant – permanent contract.
Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 5-6): £24,790 – £25,183 per annum pro rata
Actual salary £18,909 – £19,208.77 per annum
Apprentice Inclusion Support Assistant – fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship.
Salary: £8.50 in the first year of the apprenticeship, after which you will be entitled to the National Minimum Wage for your age.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young people. Whether you are looking to start in education through an apprenticeship or already have the experience for a permanent role – the successful candidate will work under the direction of the SENDCo and teaching staff to support our students with additional needs, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

John Taylor Free School opened in 2018, and we are now at capacity with Year 7-13. Our first Ofsted rating is ‘Good’ alongside a strong set of first GCSE results with above national figures in all benchmark areas.
