Walton on Trent CofE Primary School is a thriving school at the heart of the local community, providing a vibrant learning experience for every child. Values driven with a focus on providing an environment that prepares pupils to be confident and happy citizens, JTMAT is now starting its search for the next leader of this caring and inclusive school.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction of the school in partnership with the Trust.
- Develop plans for improvement and development across all Key Stages.
- Engage with staff, pupils, Governors and the wider school community to secure ongoing improvement.
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to build a high performing team, motivating and challenging where necessary.
- Foster and nurture partnerships for the benefit of the school.

- Solid track record of delivering school improvement.
- Expertise across all Key Stages.
- Experience of strategies to improve teaching and learning.
- Ability to assess and demonstrate outstanding teaching practice.
- Skills to engage with staff, pupils, Governors and the wider school community and to build a high performing team.
