Walton on Trent CofE Primary School is a thriving school at the heart of the local community, providing a vibrant learning experience for every child. Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction of the school in partnership with the Trust.
  • Develop plans for improvement and development across all Key Stages.
  • Engage with staff, pupils, Governors and the wider school community to secure ongoing improvement.
  • Provide leadership, guidance and direction to build a high performing team, motivating and challenging where necessary.
  • Foster and nurture partnerships for the benefit of the school.

Person specification / Qualifications

  • Solid track record of delivering school improvement.
  • Expertise across all Key Stages.
  • Experience of strategies to improve teaching and learning.
  • Ability to assess and demonstrate outstanding teaching practice.
  • Skills to engage with staff, pupils, Governors and the wider school community and to build a high performing team.
