Year 1 Class Teacher – Permanent, Part Time Required from September 2026 (later start available for the right candidate). Part time, 13 hours a week (Thursday & Friday). Salary MPS1 – UPS3 £32,916 to £51,048 per annum pro rata (actual salary: £13,166.40 – £20,419.20 per annum).

We are looking for a dedicated and caring teacher who can work well as part of a team, to support the Year 1 children at a crucial time in their school journey.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have a thorough and up‑to‑date knowledge and understanding of the KS1 national curriculum.
  • Encourage all pupils to reach their true potential and become independent learners with a positive attitude to lifelong learning.
  • Provide a challenging, yet supportive learning environment which stimulates, maintains and develops lively enquiring minds.
  • Be an excellent communicator who works in collaboration with families for the benefit of the child.
  • Be able to work together, as part of a team, towards common goals.
