Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join our Site, Maintenance & Engineering team for a six-month placement.
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Management, Operations or a related discipline who is looking to gain practical experience within a manufacturing environment and build valuable industry experience for their future career.
The role will primarily focus on engineering and facilities administration, maintenance coordination, health & safety support and process improvement across our two manufacturing sites and two retail stores.
While this is not a hands-on engineering role, you will work closely with experienced maintenance and engineering colleagues and have opportunities to shadow the team, learn how engineering and facilities functions operate within a manufacturing business, and gain exposure to real-world maintenance, compliance and improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Engineering Co-ordination
· Help coordinate planned servicing, maintenance and repair activities across two factories and two stores.
· Liaise with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to arrange servicing, inspections and maintenance visits.
· Maintain service schedules and help ensure planned maintenance activities are completed on time.
