We are looking for an experienced and driven Quality Lead to oversee quality management on our Infrastructure project.
This role would be well-suited to an experienced Senior Engineer or Sub Agent who has a strong interest in Quality
This role is key to ensuring that all activities on site are compliant with specifications, drawings, and applicable standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager and working closely with Project and Package Managers, the Quality Lead will champion quality assurance through the lifecycle of the project, applying the principles of the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to establish the Project Quality Plan and handover documentation prior to project commencement.
  • Set up and maintain project quality trackers aligned with specifications and deliverables.
  • Support Package Managers in preparing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure start-up events are carried out with subcontractors.
  • Follow up on Material Approval Requests (MARs) to ensure timely approval and compliance.
  • Ensure that mock-ups, sample approvals, and benchmarking activities are executed as required.
  • Monitor site activities to confirm alignment with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Lead the inspection and test record (ITR) process to ensure progressive and accurate capture of quality records (including testing records and photographs)
  • Raise and support closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure defect management is completed pre-handover.
  • Work closely with engineers and the site team to deliver a fully documented and compliant Handover Health & Safety file.
  • Take part in Quality Health Checks with the Quality Manager and make sure that any site actions raised from the review are closed out in a timely manner.
  • Carry out weekly site meetings with the site team to manage Quality and to drive compliance and accountability within the team.
  • There will be various other responsibilities that align with the Sisk Quality Procedures.
  • Some weekend or extended hours may be required based on project needs.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality management within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Solid understanding of ITPs, ITRs, PQPs, MARs, NCRs, and handover documentation.
  • Experience using quality tracking tools and managing quality records throughout the project life cycle
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with Site teams, Subcontractors, and Engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of the Specification for Highway Works
  • Ability to manage Quality and lead the site team to comply with the Sisk procedures
