The Health and Wellbeing Graduate role is a varied position combining research, design and delivery of key health and wellbeing initiatives and campaigns across Sisk Construction UK (SCUK). The role will also include elements of coordination and administration to support the ongoing delivery of Occupational Health and Wellbeing programmes. Based in St Albans but working across London & the UK, the Health and Wellbeing Graduate will report directly to the Health Promotion Lead and will work closely with members of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team, as well as a range of stakeholders across the wider business.

A key aspect of the role will be supporting the delivery and coordination of health promotion initiatives across SCUK projects, helping to maintain momentum and increase engagement across sites and offices. The successful candidate will be based in the UK for the duration of the graduate contract and will involve regular travel to project sites and offices across the UK. The candidate should therefore be comfortable working in a variety of environments, including construction sites and corporate offices.

Responsibilities
  • Support and co-deliver health promotion initiatives across SCUK projects on topics such as physical activity, nutrition, sleep and general wellbeing (e.g. wellbeing presentations, toolbox-style sessions, signposting and campaign delivery).
  • Coordinate site engagement activities, including scheduling visits, managing communications, preparing materials, tracking attendance and capturing feedback.
  • Act as a local point of contact for Health Promotion queries within SCUK.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Occupational Health and Wellbeing team to support the development and delivery of future programmes and integrative visits to SCUK sites.
  • Assist in the development of an external H&W Provider list for the UK to complement what the team currently delivers internally.
  • General administrative tasks to support the wider occupational health and wellbeing team.
  • Engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders to help promote and embed the health and wellbeing agenda across the business.
Experience
  • Recent graduate in Public Health / Health Promotion / Sports, Exercise or Nutritional science, or a related health discipline.
  • Competence in facilitating groups and presenting to teams.
  • Strong organisation and reporting skills.
  • Good IT literacy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of planning and organisational ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and offices across the UK.
  • Comfortable working in site-based environments as well as office settings.
