We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our UK Infrastructure Business Unit to take full commercial responsibility and ownership for the project, working closely with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager and the construction team to ensure a successful project is delivered, while maintaining relationships and maximising commercial returns and managing risk.

Responsibilities
- Integrate the commercial strategy, amending to suit project as it develops.
- Liaise with and commercially influence/challenge the other members of the team and the construction process.
- Take ownership for, administer and represent the company in commercial and contractual issues, including but not limited to:
- Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate subcontracts, finalising subcontract orders, and financially and commercially managing to Final Account completion.
- Prepare and agree valuations, including generating certificates and invoice/payments.
- Update projected Final Accounts on a regular basis and prepare, submit and agree Final Account in a timely manner.
- Take responsibility for control of traditional contracts and contracts over €/£15m.
- Manage the recording and submission of claims in respect of delay and loss/expense; formulate detailed arguments and make representations to relevant parties.
