Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Energy Systems Manager to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Energy Management System. This role is pivotal in driving energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and supporting sustainability initiatives across our operations. Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Energy Management System (EnMS) in line with ISO 50001 standards.
  • Conduct detailed energy data and consumption analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage procurement processes and maintain strong engagement with utility providers.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on energy management practices across teams.
  • Develop and maintain energy forecasting models to support operational planning.
  • Oversee data management systems related to energy use and performance.
  • Design temporary electrical systems for site setups with energy efficiency in mind.
  • Research and develop innovative energy-saving opportunities.
  • Manage energy aspects of site setup, including metering and monitoring.
  • Perform carbon assessments and develop strategies for reduction.
  • Collaborate with the wider Sustainability team to align energy goals with broader environmental objectives.
  • Support exemplar projects with energy expertise and insights.
  • Drive energy efficiency in transport and construction machinery.
  • Optimize electrical systems for improved energy performance.

Experience

  • Proven experience with ISO 50001 and energy performance analytics.
  • Strong data management and utility data analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of utility services and infrastructure.
  • Experience in research and development related to energy systems.
  • Proficiency in site energy measurement and monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in carbon management and reduction strategies.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
  • Knowledge of transport and construction energy services and management.
