The Electrical Supervisor has an opportunity to join a Construction Management team as an Electrical system(s) owner, on pharmaceutical projects.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of HSE practices and promote a positive safety culture by leading by example.
- Proficient in Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and LOTO procedures.
- Assist in the preparation, review and approval of method statements and permits for Electrical and other relevant contractors.
- Regular site inspections to monitor the progress of Electrical and MEP works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Track and document the progress of on-site activities, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) and Inspection Test Records (ITR’s).
- Attend/lead system walkdowns to verify installations meet project specifications and standards.
- Manage the closeout of relevant punch list items to ensure project/system completion.
- Review and approval of turnover documentation ensuring documentation meets project and client requirements.
- Coordination and witnessing of commissioning activities.
- Attend meetings with relevant disciplines and contractors.
- Provide updates, address concerns, and collaborate with project team and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision.
