The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The Estimator is responsible for ensuring that the estimated cost of a project is prepared correctly in an explicit and consistent manner which takes into account the methods of construction and all circumstances which may affect the execution of the work on a project within our rail M&E specialist in Kent.

Ensure tender documents, addendums, client correspondence etc., are logged on the server and relevant team members are issued with copies.

Produce sub-contractor enquiry schedule, obtaining suggestions/feedback from the tender team, procurement department preferred/approved contractor schedules.

Issue sub-contract enquiries, including scope of works and attendance schedules (where applicable).

Issue materials enquiries.

Experience
  • Must have experience within M&E in construction, desirably for in the rail sector.
  • Must have strong analytical and numeracy skills to accurately evaluate detailed specifications, cost and risk.
  • Must be detail orientated.
  • Must have a detailed knowledge of the latest processes, materials, and costs.
  • In addition, they should be familiar with Conquest/Causeway/Coins or similar estimating software.
