We are looking for a proactive and organised

Credit Controller to join our Client Accounts team.

This role would suit someone with excellent communication, administration and organisational skills, along with a confident and professional telephone manner.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

They will enjoy building and maintaining positive relationships with landlords and tenants, while managing their workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor rent arrears across the lettings portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
  • Chase outstanding payments in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with tenants and landlords to resolve payment issues and arrears cases.
  • Produce accurate arrears reports and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Manage and recover outstanding landlord debt.
  • Assist with the administration of landlord Rent & Legal policies, including new registrations, claims submissions, insurer liaison, and landlord updates.
  • Support the Client Accounts team with additional duties as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a Credit Control or Client Accounts role would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be firm when necessary while remaining empathetic and professional with landlords and tenants.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • IT literate, with confidence using Microsoft Office; Excel skills would be an advantage.
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
