Hourly Rate: £35.73/hour (£29.78/hour + £5.96/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 9 am to 2 pm
Fridays: 10 am – 12:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to learners.
- Work closely with the Head of Department and the rest of the team to share knowledge and skills.
- Act as a personal tutor, promote and track attendance.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.
Qualifications
- A full teaching qualification.
- Able to deliver FS and GCSE.
- Minimum of an A Level in Maths (Degree qualification strongly desired).
- Recent GCSE & Functional Skills teaching experience (ideally within an FE environment).
- Experience teaching both adults students and 16-18 year olds.
