We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sports Coordinator to plan, deliver and coordinate a high-quality programme of sport, physical activity and fitness-based enrichment opportunities that enhance student engagement, wellbeing and participation across the college group. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport and student wellbeing to make a real difference. You’ll play a key role in enhancing student engagement, attendance, and overall experience, using sport and physical activity as a powerful tool to support learners — particularly those who may be struggling with motivation, behaviour or attendance.
From organising competitions and inclusive enrichment activities to supporting student transition into college life, this is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same. We have full-time and term‑time only + 3 weeks roles available. Please state your preference in your supporting statement.
The Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Relevant qualification in youth work, education, wellbeing willing to work towards one Level 3 qualification in sports related personal training
- Experience working with young people in an education, youth work or support setting
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection duties and procedures
Interviews are expected to be held during week commencing 22nd of June.
