SpLD Tutor & Exams Access Arrangement Assessor role at East Surrey College (Redhill) / John Ruskin College (Croydon). Support role in ALS team, available on a full-time or sessional basis.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure students with identified Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) and other additional needs are supported to develop skills and strategies to become independent learners.
  • Ensure that exam arrangements are in place for all learners who require them and that these arrangements are conducted according to JCQ and Awarding Organisations regulations.

Qualifications

  • Level 7 SpLD Assessors Qualification or equivalent Exam Access Arrangements qualification
  • A teaching qualification at Level 4 or above
  • Knowledge of access arrangements and reasonable adjustments
  • Experience of supporting students/young people with specific additional needs
  • Be highly motivated and possess exceptional organisational skills
  • A degree or equivalent qualification

Contract and Location

  • Location: East Surrey College (Redhill) or John Ruskin College (Croydon).
  • Hours: 8:45 am to 5 pm.
  • Salary: up to Β£41,718.11 for full time or Β£40.19 p/h as sessional.
