We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to join our team at East Surrey College and play a key role in delivering our University‑awarded and RICS‑accredited BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying programme. This role involves shaping and developing future talent, delivering high‑quality teaching that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in the construction industry. Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will contribute to the continued growth and development of this prestigious programme while creating an outstanding and engaging learning experience for students. Position is part‑time, 3 days a week, but flexible delivery methods can be discussed.

Qualifications

  • A teaching qualification or experience of training (or willingness to work toward a formal teaching qualification)
  • A current Chartered Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience of delivering and assessing Quantity Surveying (ideally within an FE environment)
  • Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Academic and/or professional experience in Quantity Surveying
