Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to drive our Maths provision across the College Group. In this key role, you will lead and manage Maths delivery, ensuring high‑quality teaching and strong outcomes for students across GCSE and Functional Skills. You will be accountable for achievement, attendance, progress and the overall learner experience. Working closely with the Director of Learning (English and Maths), you will support the development of a responsive and well‑planned curriculum, while leading staff, monitoring performance, and using data to drive improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Maths delivery ensuring high‑quality teaching and strong outcomes for GCSE and Functional Skills students.
- Accountable for achievement, attendance, progress, and learner experience.
- Support curriculum development in partnership with the Director of Learning (English and Maths).
- Lead staff, monitor performance, and use data to drive improvement.
Qualifications
- Full teaching qualification.
- A demonstrable track record of improving success rates and standards.
- Knowledge of current developments in the Maths curriculum within Further Education.
- Experience supervising staff.
