Responsibilities
- Visit learners in the workplace to assess their knowledge and learning for Plumbing courses across Levels 2-3.
- Conduct practical assessments, monitor and track progress, train and assess, and deliver the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification within the workplace.
- Build strong relationships with construction industry stakeholders on behalf of the College.
- Ensure that work placements are safe environments conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Be qualified to at least level three.
- Hold a Certificate/Award in Assessing (Ideally IQA).
- An understanding of the apprenticeship provision.
- Have proven industry experience in the Plumbing industry.
- Have a full clean UK driving license and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes as the role will involve travelling to local businesses.
- Have excellent administrative and IT skills.
- Experience of assessing and working with high profile employers would be advantageous.
- The ability to plan and deliver a flexible workload.
It is also highly desirable for candidates to hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance and a teaching qualification.
