John Raymond Transport Ltd (JRT) is a leading UK transport company. The business services a wide range of industries including FMCG customers, leading retailers, food and drink manufacturers; paper and building material specialists.
We are currently recruiting for the position of Workshop Foreman to be part of our skilled team who maintain our extensive fleet of trucks and trailers in John Raymond Transport in Bridgend, Wales.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on workshop supervising foreman capable of taking charge as required reporting to the Workshop Manager.
- Manage workflows and quality of maintenance & repairs undertaken.
- Hands-on approach to maintenance and servicing of trucks and assorted trailers.
- Provide support regarding legal preparation and presentation of fleet along with vehicle movement.
- Work alongside company managers, fostering excellent working relationships to aid in the management of all aspects of maintenance and service performance.
- Conduct audits on repairs and inspections carried out by service providers.
- Control of contractors onsite ensuring compliance with safety procedures and site induction if needed.
- Qualified HGV mechanic or equivalent qualification.
- Category CE driving licence is desirable.
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office and other IT programmes.
