Due to continued expansion, we require a Document Controller for our projects based in Newport.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage Procore for the lifecycle of the project in line with digital project delivery procedures.
  • Liaise with Procore Committee and Support team frequently to review system adoption and compliance.
  • Assist Design Co-ordinator in managing the workflow for the creation, distribution, and maintenance of project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Implement and maintain an efficient document control system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Monitor and enforce the use of correct naming convention according to the project Communication Protocol.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless flow of information and documentation.
  • Manage document versioning to prevent errors and discrepancies in project documentation.
  • Address queries and concerns related to document management, fostering a culture of compliance and efficiency.
  • Assist Design Co-ordinator in ensuring client information requirements are clear to the team and are delivered by the team i. e., what information is to be delivered, when and by whom.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in document control within the construction industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction processes and documentation requirements.
  • Experience of using Document Control Software – Procore but not essential
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of documents and tasks simultaneously.
