As a Lunchtime Supervisor you will:
- Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall, playground, and other areas.
- Encourage positive play and social interaction.
- Promote good behaviour and follow school policies.
- Build strong, trusting connections with pupils to promote emotional wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
- Support the school’s culture and values by modelling respectful, kind and calm communication.
- Assist with setting up and clearing the dining area as needed.
- Liaise effectively with teaching and support staff regarding any lunchtime concerns or observations that need follow-up.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring, active and friendly, with a warm and approachable manner.
- Is enthusiastic and able to work proactively as part of a team.
- Is an effective communicator with a good standard of literacy and computer skills.
- Is able to develop a positive relationship with pupils and staff.
- Has experience working with children in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
