Role Purpose
Responsible for overseeing and delivering the full range of training requirements for all employees at Menzies World Cargo, ensuring continuous compliance with standards set by Menzies Aviation, airline customers, and national and international regulatory authorities.
What you will be doing
- Deliver all required training to the highest possible standard in line with Menzies Aviation's Learning and Development Policy, ensuring training records, databases, and compliance documentation are accurate and fully up to date.
- Liaise proactively with Duty Managers and departmental leads to schedule and coordinate training activities in line with operational, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all staff requiring mandatory or refresher training are identified and advised in a timely manner, maintaining full compliance with company, airline, and statutory standards.
- Develop, review, and update training materials to reflect airline procedures, new products, and regulatory changes, ensuring alignment with Menzies Aviation and customer expectations.
- Support the preparation, coordination, and participation in airline audits and internal quality reviews, ensuring all training documentation and records meet audit-readiness standards.

What we are looking for
- Possession of an AET Level 3 in Education and Training would be advantageous as well as an understanding of the Learning Management System (LMS Empower).
- Knowledge of DFT regulations, the H & S Act and other compliances required.
- Must be flexible and be able to time manage their working day to ensure effective running of the Training Department.
