Role Purpose
With a firm commitment to exceptional customer service and working to high performance standards, you will be trained to specialise in aircraft turnaround processes including baggage handling, loading and offloading, aircraft pushback and towing. In addition, you will be trained to assist in other aircraft turnaround procedures such as aircraft presentation and de-icing according to our business needs.
What you will be doing
- Load and off-load baggage & goods manually or mechanically
- Undertake all relevant baggage sorting duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Carry out area hazard checks & aircraft inspections.
- Carry out towing, pushback & head-set duties, including communication with the flight deck, in accordance with the relevant training received.
- Any other duties relating to aircraft turnaround according to business needs such as aircraft presentation.
- Any aircraft de-icing duties requested.
Safety, Security and Compliance: You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and of others whilst at work. You must carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
