Role Purpose
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all duties are covered by trained staff, any absences are correctly accounted and followed up. Any shortfalls in the operations are reported to the head of department. Any equipment issues are reported for both internal and external items. Airline requirements are met, and all procedures are followed to airline, Menzies, CAA or other regulatory body requirement.
What you will be doing
- Ensure that all staff are fully trained in line with our airline operating procedures and comply with directives set by CAA other regulatory bodies.
- Equipment failures are reported and followed up in a timely manner.
- Work-bridge updates are made on the day with any absence, swaps or leave.
- Accidents, incident and near misses are correctly update in MORSE.
- Operation office runs smoothly, with all staff clearly understanding the days expectations.

What we are looking for
- Possess a good understanding of the ground handling environment and operational functions.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of management internally and externally, whilst leading and motivating a growing workforce
- Computer literacy • Experience of managing a large team with excellent leadership skills.
- A minimum of 2 years management experience in the airside Operations environment
- You will have an ability to drive through policies and procedures and represent airside.
